Argus SRE Agent
Argus investigates production incidents on its own and puts the right owner on every fix.
When an alert fires, Argus goes to work without waiting for anyone. It reads the signals, traces the failure to its root cause, measures which customers were hit, and files the incident against the team that owns it. It fixes what it should, refuses what it should not, and leaves your engineers with only the problems that are truly theirs.
Overview
Most incidents start the same way. An alert fires, and whoever holds the pager starts digging through logs and dashboards to work out what broke and who owns it. Argus does that part for you. It reads the logs, follows the failing request across your services, pinpoints the code at fault, and measures how many customers were affected. Then it does the thing most tools skip. It decides what kind of problem it is, because a bad config value, a code bug, and a corrupted record can look identical but belong to three different teams. It proposes infrastructure fixes for you to approve, hands code bugs to the team that owns them, and holds data fixes until a named owner signs off.
Who it's for
Argus is built for SRE and platform teams running many services at once, where the person holding the pager is rarely the one who owns what broke. Managers get the same read only view into any investigation, with no ability to change a thing.
Multi-agent architecture
Argus SRE Agent is built as a multi-agent system. An orchestrator coordinates specialized sub agents, each owning part of the workflow.
Investigation orchestrator
orchestratorRuns the investigation end to end. It reads the logs, traces the failing request across services, finds the code at fault, decides what kind of problem it is, and files and updates the incident. It has no path to customer data.
Business impact specialist
specialistAnswers the question every incident raises, which is who was actually affected. It replies in plain language rather than raw rows, and its access to that data stays walled off from the investigation itself.
Each session only gets the access it needs for the job in front of it. Anything it is not meant to touch is not even on the table, not just blocked.
Key capabilities
Outcomes
These results come from a controlled test environment with planted faults, not from live production traffic. We have no production performance numbers yet, and we will not claim any until we do.
Reconciled all 200 order IDs independently, with none left unmatched
Passes 379 automated tests offline, including 82 that target the safety guardrails
Handles config, code, and data problems from the first alert to the final owner
